Cooking Ingredients for Layered Casserole Recipe

1 lb Ground turkey breast or
-chicken breast
3/4 c Onion; chopped
1/2 Green pepper; chopped
1 c 1% cottage cheese
1 cn (8-oz) tomato sauce
3 tb Lite sour cream
6 tb Lite cream cheese
1 ts Salt
1/2 c Fat free cheese
3 c Cooked pasta; drained
Black pepper to taste

Layered Casserole Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown meat and onion in large skillet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Add tomato sauce and seasonings. Simmer 7-8 minutes. In large bowl combine green pepper, cottage cheese, cream cheese and sour cream. Mix thoroughly. Spray large casserole dish (9×13-inch) with non-stick cooking spray. Cover bottom with pasta. Add a layer of meat mixture. Pour cottage cheese mixture for next layer and top with shredded fat free cheese.Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Entire recipe makes 8 servings.
