1 lg Onion; grated
1/2 lb Pareve margarine; melted
Salt and pepper to taste

Source: my mom Mix all – put in greased pan and bake one hour at 350 degrees. I remember this being baked in a round pyrex dish and cut like a deep dish pie; I am sure a square or rectangular pan would work as well.
