Cooking Ingredients for Master Mix 2 Recipe
5 lb All-purpose flour
2-1/2 c Powdered milk
3/4 c Double-acting baking powder
3 tb Salt
2 tb Cream of tartar
1/2 c Sugar
2 lb Vegetable shortening
Master Mix 2 Preparation
Sift dry ingredients together, then cut in shortening until mix looks like cornmeal. Store at room temperature in a giant canister. NOTES : This recipe makes cakes, cookies, biscuits, coffee cake, and pancakes. You just add the other ingredients called for in the recipes, plus however many cups of Mastermix.
