Cooking Ingredients for Walnut-Apricot Filling Recipe

1 c Sugar
1/4 c White wine
2 c Ground walnuts
1 tb Freshly grated lemon zest
2 tb Apricot jam or orange
-marmalade
1-1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
1/4 c Raisins
2 tb Fine dried bread crumbs

Walnut-Apricot Filling Preparation

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and wine. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar. In a medium bowl combine all remaining ingredients. Pour in hot sugar mixture and mix well; let cool. NOTES : Use with Christmas Poppy Seed and Nut Rolls. Yield: 3 cups. Recipe by: © 1995 Cole Group, Inc.
