Cooking Ingredients for Wheaten Milk Biscuits Recipe

1/2 c Wheat germ
1/2 c Powdered milk
1 c All-purpose flour
1 c Whole-wheat flour
6 tb Butter-flavored shortening
1 Egg
1 ts Brown sugar
1/2 c Water

Wheaten Milk Biscuits Preparation

Preheat oven to 325oF. Combine dry ingredients. Cut in shortening until crumbly. Beat egg and combine with brown sugar. Add to flour mixture. Gradually add water until a stiff dough is formed. Knead until smooth and pliable. Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness and cut into the classic bone shape. Bake for 30 minutes. Store in refrigerator.
