Cooking Ingredients for Winter Fruit Crisp Recipe
4 sl Cubed cinnamon raisin bread
1/4 c Melted unsalted butter
1/2 c Sugar
1/2 ts Ground cloves
2 tb Sliced almonds
Fruit:
1 c Sugar
3 tb Flour
3 lg Golden delicious apples,
Peeled, cored & sliced
2 lg Pears, peeled, cored &
Sliced
1-1/2 c Cranberried, fresh or
Frozen
2 tb Lemon juice
Winter Fruit Crisp Preparation
Preheat oven to 375. For topping, combine bread, butter, sugar, cloves & almonds in large bowl. To prepared fruit, toss together sugar & flour in large bowl until combined. Add apples, pears, cranberries & lemon juice, tossing until combined. Spoon into 13X9X2 baking dish or oval baking dish. Sprinkle on topping, leaving 1 border of fruit showing around rim of dish. Tent loosely with aluminum foil. Place on baking sheet. Bake for 1 hour 10 minutes or until bubbly & fruit in center of dish is tender when pierced with a fork. Remove foil during last 30 minutes or baking. Cool until warm. Serve with vanilla ice cream if desired. Topping:
