Cooking Ingredients for Meringue Frosting Recipe
3/4 c Crisco
1 tb Meringue powder
1 ts Flavoring
1 ts Salt
1/2 c Water; (1/2 to 2/3)
2 lb Powdered sugar
Meringue Frosting Preparation
Beat Crisco, powder, flavoring and salt. Slowly add sugar alternately with water. Beat well for 5 minutes. Does not have to be refrigerated. Keeps weeks covered tightly. Remix before using. by Diane Geary <diane@keyway.net> on Feb 22, 1998
