4 md Ripe mashed bananas
1-1/2 c Sifted flour
1 ts Baking powder
1 ts Baking soda
1 c Chopped nuts; (walnuts)
2 Eggs; (or 3 large)
1 c Sugar
1/4 c Soft butter or margarine

I”ve made this a number of times. It solves your query of a banana bread and it also comes from the first SAR (Salanta Akiba Riverdale Academy) cookbook, which also no longer has a cover and I think they might have published a new one. So it”s an organization recipe that I like. I will forward some others from the myriad of cookbooks from shuls and schools that I have. Sift all dry ingredients together -add bananas nuts, and butter or margerine. Mix well in electric mixer. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease square pan.
