Cooking Ingredients for Mexican Ground Beef Recipe
6 sl Bacon
1 c Onions, chopped
1/2 c Green pepper, chopped
2 Cloves garlic, minced
1-1/2 lb Ground beef
1 cn (28 oz.) tomatoes, chopped
-with juice
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tb Chili powder
1 c Kernel corn
1 c Kidney beans, rinsed and
-drained
2 c Potatoes, peeled and diced
Mexican Ground Beef Preparation
Fry bacon until crisp. Drain and set aside. Saute onion, green pepper, and garlic in bacon drippings. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Lower heat and add tomatoes and juice, salt, pepper, chili powder, corn, beans, and potatoes. Cook 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender. When ready to serve, crumble bacon over top.
