Cooking Ingredients for Mock Hollandaise Sauce 2 Recipe
1 Stick margarine
1-1/2 c Stiff mayonnaise
2 tb Horseradish
1 sm Onion; finely chopped
1/2 ts Dry mustard
1/4 ts Cayenne pepper
1/2 ts Salt
2 ts Pepper vinegar or tarragon
-vinegar
Mock Hollandaise Sauce 2 Preparation
Place all ingredients in a quart jar and set in a pan of hot water on a low heat. Stir until well blended. Pour over vegetables just before serving. While this is mainly for serving over green beans or other green vegetables, it also makes a good sauce for seafood. Keeps well in the refrigerator. From <A Taste of Louisiana>.
