Cooking Ingredients for Moroccan Haroseth Recipe

1 lb Pitted dates, chopped
1-1/2 c Sweet red Passover wine
1 ts Ground cinnamon
1/2 ts Ground cloves
1 c Walnuts, coarsely chopped

Moroccan Haroseth Preparation

Put the dates in a pan with the wine and seasonings and simmer until the mixture resembles a soft paste, about 30 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool. Add the walnuts and serve.
