1 c Pitted dates, chopped
1/2 Dried figs – chopped
1/3 c Passover Concord grape wine
3 tb Sesame seeds
1 ts Ginger pinch coriander
1 sm Red chile, minced OR pinch
-cayenne pepper
2 tb Matzo meal
Yemenite Charoset 2 Preparation
Combine dates, figs and wine in large bowl. Add sesame seeds, ginger, coriander, chile and matzo meal and blend thoroughly. Roll into 1-inch balls or serve in bowl. Formatted by Lynn Thomas dcqp82a.
