1 lb Plain flour.
A pinch of salt
4 oz Granulated sugar
4 oz Currants
4 oz Sultanas
4 oz Large raisins; stoned
4 oz Lard
A little chopped candied
-peel
1/2 oz Baker s yeast
1 Egg
Bara Brith Preparation
Preheat the oven to 160 Centigrade (moderate oven). Mix all the dry ingredients and then mix in the egg. Put the mix into a greased baking tin and bake for about an hour, until golden brown on top. by LSHW <shusky@erols.com> on Feb 17, 1998
