Cooking Ingredients for Zucchini Stew Recipe

2 lb Italian sausage; cut in
-chunks
2 tb Oil
4 Cloves garlic
24 oz Picante sauce
15 oz Tomatoes; canned
2 lg Green pepper; chopped coarse
1/2 ts Oregano
1 ts Basil
2 c Zucchini; unskinned and
-cubed

Zucchini Stew Preparation

Brown sausage in Dutch oven in oil and garlic. Add salsa, tomatoes and pepper. Simmer 15 minutes and add remaining ingredients to boil, shut off heat and let stand 20 minutes. Serve with Italian Bread NOTES : You can make this as hot or mild as you want, just depends on the heat of the sausage and picante sauce.
