Cooking Ingredients for Nine-Bean Soup Recipe

2 c Mixed dried beans (packaged
-9-bean or 15-bean)
1 qt Water
1 lb Sausage; sliced
1 lg Onion; chopped
1 Clove garlic; minced
1 ts Salt
1 cn (16-oz) tomatoes; with juice
1 cn (16-oz) Rotel tomatoes with
-green chiles

Nine-Bean Soup Preparation

Wash beans. Soak in water overnight. Pour off water. Add all other ingredients and simmer about 3-1/2 hours. From a collection of my mother”s (Judy Hosey) recipe box which contained lots of her favorite recipes, clippings, etc.
