3 Boxes (1.8 ounce) leek soup
-mix (like Knorr s)
2 ts Dried thyme
1/2 ts Grated nutmeg
1-1/2 lb Red new potatoes, peeled and
-diced (I didn t bother
-peeling though)
4 Celery ribs, thinly sliced
6 Green onions, thinly sliced
3 Apples, cored and cut into
-16 wedges each
3/4 c Dried cranberries
2 lb Skinless, boneless chicken
-breast halves, halved
-crosswise
Normandy Chicken with Apples Preparation
In crockpot (at least 4-5 quart), combine the cider, dry soup mix, thyme and nutmeg. Stir to blend. Add potatoes, celery, green onions, apples and cranberries. Tuck the chicken down into the mixture.
