1 c Brown sugar
1 c Granulated sugar
2 Sticks butter
2 Eggs
1 ts Vanilla
2 c Sifted flour
1 ts Baking soda
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Allspice
1/2 ts Nutmeg
1/2 ts Cinnamon
1-3/4 c Oatmeal
1-1/4 c Chopped pecans
2/3 c Currants or raisins

Oatmeal Cookies #2 Preparation

Cream butter & sugars. Add eggs & vanilla. Add flour mixed with spices. Mix well & add oats, pecans & currants. Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 about 8 minutes.
