4 c Bite-sized tortilla chips
1 cn Mixed nuts
1 pk Microwave popcorn; popped
3 c Crispic creeal
1/2 c Butter
1/2 c Brown sugar; packed
1/4 ts Cinnamon
1/2 c Light Karo syrup
1 tb Chili powder
1/8 ts (or more) red pepper flakes

Date: Thu, 20 Jun 1996 23:17:40 +0000 From: Cheryl Miller <csmiller@LAMAR.COLOSTATE.EDU> Place tortilla chips, popped popcorn, mixed nuts and cereal in a large roasting pan. Mix butter, corn syrup, brown sugar, chili powder, cinnamon and red papper flakes in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour mixture over items in roasting pan. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Afer baking, spread onto large sheet of waxed paper to cool. I usually double this recipe.
