1 bn Basil, coarsely chopped
1 Maui or red onion, thinly
-sliced
1 tb Olive oil (opt)
2 tb Wine vinegar
Freshly ground pepper
Chives

Tomato-Maui Onion Salad Preparation

Arrange tomato slices on serving platter or 6 individual plates. Top with basil and onion slices. Sprinkle with oil, vinegar and pepper. Garnish platter with long, uncut chives. Makes 6 servings.
