Cooking Ingredients for Tuna Melt Pitas Recipe

1 cn (7 oz) flaked white tuna
3/4 c Diced celery
3/4 c Shredded Cheddar cheese
1/3 c Mayonnaise
2 Green onions, chopped
2 tb Green pickle relish
10 Mini pita breads
Paprika

Tuna Melt Pitas Preparation

Drain and flake tuna. In bowl, combine tuna, celery, Cheddar, mayonnaise, onions and relish. Cut pitas in half to form circles; arrange on baking sheet. Top each half with heaping tablespoon tuna mixture. Sprinkle with paprika to taste. (Pitas can be prepared to this point, covered and refrigerated for up to 1 day.) Bake in 350oF oven for 15 minutes or until Cheddar melts. Makes 20 appetizers.
