Cooking Ingredients for Vanilla Refrigerator Cookies Recipe
1 c Shortening
1/2 c Sugar
1/2 c Brown sugar
2 Eggs
1-1/2 ts Vanilla
2-3/4 c Flour
1/2 ts Soda
1 ts Salt
Vanilla Refrigerator Cookies Preparation
Mix shortening, sugars, eggs & vanilla thoroughly. Blend dry ingredients together; mix into shortening mixture. Mix thoroughly with hands. Press & mold into long, smooth roll about 2 1/2 in diameter. Wrap in wax paper & chill several hours. Heat oven to 400. Cut into thin slices. Place a little apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 6-8 minutes.
