2-1/2 c Flour
1-2/3 c Sugar
3-1/2 ts Baking powder
1 ts Salt
3/4 c Milk
2/3 c Crisco
3 Eggs
1/2 c Milk
1 ts Vanilla
Basic Yellow Cake 2 Preparation
Preheat oven to 350° Grease and flour 2 9 inch round pans. In bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt and powder. Add Crisco,and 3/4 cup milk. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Add eggs, remaining milk and vanilla. Beat for another 2 minutes, pour in prepared pans. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until done. Cool, frost as desired.
