1-1/2 lb Beef top round steak (1/2
-thick), cut into serving
-sized pieces
4 c Sliced onions
2 Jars (4.5 oz) Green Giant
-whole mushrooms, drained
1 cn (10 1/2 oz) condensed beef
-broth
1/4 ts Salt
1/8 ts Pepper
1/2 c Water
4 tb Cornstarch

The following recipe is definitely a TNT! I got it from Pillsbury Good For You Dinners – Sept 96. To my Texas heart, this is good home cookin”!! Serve it over mashed potatoes – umm umm good!! Heat oven to 325 degrees. In large oven proof baking dish, combine all ingredients except water and cornstarch; mix well. Cover. Bake for 2 1/2 – 3 hours or until beef is tender. In small bowl, combine water & cornstarch; stir into beef mixture. Bake an additional 15 minutes or until gravy has thickened. Note: This is my version as I have changed the recipe by doubling everything but the beef and the salt & pepper – we LOVE gravy at our house!!
