2-1/2 lb Pot roast
2 Large onions
1 Clove garlic
1/2 c Clear stock
1/3 c Raisins
1 Bay leaf
2 tb Vinegar
1 tb Dark brown sugar
2 tb Ketchup

Sweet and Sour Pot Roast Preparation

Brown beef on all sides in some fat in heavy pan. Add onions and garlic, diced, and brown. Add stock and bay leaf and simmer 1 hr , covered tightly. Add more stock if necessary.
