Cooking Ingredients for Swiss Steak #1 Recipe

1-1/2 lb Round steak
Flour
Salt & pepper
Oil
1 md Bell pepper; chopped
1 Onion; chopped
1 cn (14-oz) tomatoes
2 cn (8-oz) tomato sauce
1 c Water
3 c Cooked rice

Swiss Steak #1 Preparation

Cut steak into small bite-size pieces. Salt & pepper. Roll in flour & fry in a small amount of oil until brown. Remove steak from pan & saute bell pepper & onion in remaining oil until tender. Drain oil. Add cut-up tomatoes, tomato sauce & water. Put steak back in & simmer for 30 minutes. Serve over rice.
