Cooking Ingredients for Taboulet Recipe

1 c Fine cracked wheat
4 bn Fresh parsley
3 lg Tomatoes
6 Green onions or 1 yellow
-onion
4 Lemons; Juice of
2 ts Salt
1 c Olive oil
2 ts Dry mint or 1 bunch fresh
-mint leaves; if desired

Taboulet Preparation

Wash cracked wheat in water and then drain. Add lemon juice and let set 15 minutes. Pick parsley from stems – wash, drain and then chop parsley very fine. Dice tomatoes and add to cracked wheatbsp. Dice green onions and add to cracked wheatbsp. Add olive oil and mix all ingredients in large bowl. Serve with romaine lettuce and pita bread as a side dish or a main meal. Converted by MC_Buster.
