4 c Flour
8 ts Baking powder
1 ts Salt
2 tb Sugar
2/3 c Shortening

mix well. Beat 2 eggs and add enough milt to make a soft dough (don”t you love old precise recipes??), roll out 1/2 thick, cut with a glass, and cook in a rather hot oven about 450 for 12-13 min. makes a lot but they freeze well (I generally eat them all before they go anyway…freeze? like anything ever lasts that long here!!
